Zero Percent Food Recovery 

A program dedicated to eliminating excess cafeteria waste. Loaves and Fishes partners with a number of companies, schools and universities across the Twin Cities to capture food that otherwise would be tossed out. This food is then prepared by a Loaves and Fishes chef and served to our guests.

Summer Food Service Program

Summertime is our busiest season. We have opened several lunch sites dedicated to feeding children while school is out. We've also partnered with several community organizations around the state to enrich their summer programming.

Produce Distributions

Summer is the season of produce! Many farms and grocery stores have excess produce that is unable to be sold. In partnership with Second Harvest Heartland, we receive several pallets of this produce every week and distribute them to communities in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
