Feb 26, 2016

Minneapolis, MN {February 26, 2016}– Loaves and Fishes is excited to announce that we were the recipient of the 2016 BOLD Award in the Non-Profit Category, presented by the Minnesota Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth®(ACG.)  The program celebrates the corporate leaders and teams that are behind successful mergers and acquisitions, financing and extraordinary strategies that led to sustainability, remarkable performance and/or accelerated growth in 2015.

Loaves and Fishes was nominated for our BOLD partnership with the Greater Twin Cities United Way in procuring a collection of four farms to kick off our “Farm for All” initiative in summer 2015.  This bold move, with a large price tag attached, had guests’ best interest, health and well-being in mind. And, the bold move paid off! Loaves and Fishes now offers “Farm to-Table” meals.

The BOLD Awards were held on Tuesday, February 23, at 6:00 pm at the Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley. The event was a festive, high-energy BOLD celebration of the businesses that grow Minnesota!  Each finalist was featured in a video vignette with interviews and testimonials showcasing their efforts and successes. Attendees enjoyed live performances from students at the McPhail Center for Music, lavish appetizers and desserts.  Loaves and Fishes was also the recipient of a BOLD and generous, $25,000 spontaneous donation from Patterson Companies, the Large Corporate BOLD Award and BOLDEST of the BOLD winner.
