The University of Minnesota Gopher softball team wanted to find a way to give back to the Loaves & Fishes community. Due to team restrictions they are currently unable to volunteer at a site. They got creative and partnered with us to make sock bundles filled with community meal site information, hygiene items, masks and protein bars for our guests.
“We were grateful to be able to help Loaves & Fishes and give back to our community,” senior infielder MaKenna Partain said. “It was a great way for the team to have some fun together while staying socially distanced. We can’t wait to see how the sock bundles make a difference in the community!”
