Director of Operations

Position Summary

The Director of Operations manages efficiency and effectiveness of day to day activities for Loaves and Fishes. The primary focus of this position is in program development, staff support, and warehouse management.

Essential Job Functions

Oversee all meal sites, HUB partners, warehouse operations and logistics.

Work with Loaves and Fishes management team that oversees 30+ year-round meal sites and 70+ HUB partners.

Represent Loaves and Fishes in a positive manner while promoting program mission and vision to staff and partners.

Maintain Premarius inventory system to develop efficient systems and reporting.

Develop processes around inventory system to create the greatest access to food for our sites and partners.

Maintain site visit audits for all sites (meal sites & HUB).

Foster relationships with potential dining sites across Minnesota.

Oversee and explore new partners for our seasonal programs focused on feeding children.

Supervise staff as needed.

Duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements

Education: College Degree

Experience: Warehouse management, food industry, member of a management team, inventory software experience (Premarius is a plus), non-profit a plus but not a must.

Required Skills: Leadership, strong and timely organizational acumen, effective communicator, technology, ability to lift 50 lbs., strong delegator, ability to multi-task and prioritize, excellence in leadership, supervisory skills and a true team player.
