The coronavirus crisis has increased the need for families throughout the Twin Cities to find fresh and healthy meals to eat. In order to meet this challenge, Loaves & Fishes is partnering with YMCA Twin Cities and the UnitedHealth Group. This unique partnership combines Loaves & Fishes expertise in providing free public dining, with YMCA’s region-wide distribution network.
Families can come to select YMCAs to pick up a meal Monday-Friday from Noon-1:00 PM. Families choose a protein, vegetable, and other fresh food. Lunch with a sandwich, fruit and a snack. Families don’t have to be members of the YMCA to receive a meal. Supplies are limited and we ask for guests to practice social distancing when pickup food.
Loaves & Fishes seeks to serve Minnesotans in need. Our reach is expanded due to this new relationship with the YMCA and United Health Group, ensuring that no Minnesotan goes hungry.
