Longtime Loaves & Fishes Site Coordinator Retires

Article Summary

Kathy Tominski marked her retirement day with hugs, handshakes and happy tears. After 27 years, she retired from her role as Site Coordinator for Loaves & Fishes dining site at Creekside Community Center in Bloomington. She's been a fixture at the dining site for nearly three decades and has served over one million meals during her career.

Tominski received a framed congratulatory letter from Mayor Gene Winstead and the first-ever "Golden Silverware Award" from Loaves & Fishes.

Although Tominski has retired, she plans to drop-in to the Creekside Community Center to volunteer and say "hello."
