WOW! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You stepped up to help us raise $300,000 counting our match for Give to the Max Day! That is a new Loaves & Fishes record and will help us expand our mission and feed more Minnesotans in need.
Our team started in the warehouse Give to the Max Day morning where we saw site coordinators and fellow nonprofit partners picking up food for the day’s meals. Next, we went to the commissary kitchen where Thanksgiving meal prep was underway and smelling delicious.
Then we visited our site coordinator Marena at Salvation Army-North as she served 100 tasty lunches packed with pork loin and fresh, healthy sides. One of our last stops of the day was at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in St. Paul where 200 guests took home a warm, nutritious meal on a cold Minnesota night.
