The NeedINDeed, a nonprofit with the mission to serve those in need within the community, started a partnership with Loaves & Fishes this summer.
They donated 2,700 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches made by 10 families in July and have now setup monthly volunteers. They are currently donating 200 sandwiches every month. Overall, they have donated 3,700 sandwiches with the goal of donating 1,600 more in 2021.
“We are very excited about our partnership with Loaves and Fishes,” said board member Leena Khurana. “We have had a wonderful experience in working with Associate Exectuvie Director Kiley Benson who makes it seamless to get them picked up.”
