This summer, a youth leadership group from small-town Nebraska handed over their phones and traveled to Loaves & Fishes with no idea what each day would hold. What they found, washing grapes, sharing tables, and serving alongside our Site Coordinator Mel, wasn’t the chance to make a difference. It was the chance to be different.
When St. Mark’s made the decision to close after 70 years, they made a few final decisions. One of which was to donate $115,000 to Loaves & Fishes on behalf of a summer match.
