We have begun operations in St Cloud. Our new location was formerly a Coborn’s grocery store. This expansion allows us to significantly increase the opportunity for St. Cloud and rural Minnesota residents to access healthy food.

According to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) food is already the second-largest expense for families in Stearns County.

Our Commissary Kitchen & Warehouse ensures we can prepare and distribute meals efficiently and locally! In April 2023, we began providing enough bulk ingredients to our St. Cloud partners to serve 500 meals daily.

All the food prepared and cooked in our commissary kitchen comes from our Food Rescue partnerships. We work closely with SpartanNash in St. Cloud to rescue wholesome and healthy food that would otherwise go to waste or landfills. In addition, we collaborate with organizations like Second Harvest Heartland, MealConnect, and Fresh Food Connect to rescue surplus food. We also rely on generous donations from organizations, groups, and individuals who support our cause. Currently, our dedicated staff collects leftover food from partnering restaurants, grocery stores, cafeterias, and businesses in the Twin Cities Metro. We are actively seeking out food rescue partners, specifically within the St. Cloud community.

All HUB Partners can source food affordably by leveraging our infrastructure and food inventory. We’ve partnered with multiple local nonprofits to uplift their current programming.

Our Street Outreach program has served the St. Cloud community for four years and will have an even greater reach and impact. With a local food commissary kitchen and warehouse, we can provide more efficient support right where it’s needed.
